An office that reads from the street
The small pavilion had to work as a shop window: catch the eye from the road, show the company's name and make it clear at once that this is a sales office.
The interior with its workstations had to open onto the street, and the entrance had to stand out even at dusk.
Stone, glass and light
The entrance in the middle of the facade is a glass door under a projecting black sign box with the company's name and gold-toned light strips along its edges. It is flanked by two pylons of pale veined stone: the left one carries raised letters reading ‘Sales office’, the right one a screen showing a multi-storey building.
On either side, full-height shop windows reveal desks, armchairs and a world map on the wall. Above them runs a ribbed navy frieze with hidden lighting, and the side walls are clad in white panels.
A paved path leads to the white entrance steps; boxwood balls in white planters line the shop windows, with a low hedge and a strip of lawn along the edge. The pylons are uplit, which shows most in the evening light.
