Facade of a residential complex
Two high-rise residential towers on a shared podium. A pale facade with rustication, window surrounds and cornices draws on neoclassicism, while glazed bays in black frames and openwork screens between the windows keep it contemporary.

Classical detail for a high-rise
To give two tall towers a refined look without making them heavy, and to plan the lower floors so that shops and cafés could open there.
Rustication, cornices and glass
The towers are clad in pale stone with horizontal rustication, the windows have surrounds, and every few floors a cornice wraps around the facade. The top floors step back, so each tower grows lighter towards the sky.
Glazed bays in black frames run up the corners and the middle of each facade, with openwork decorative screens between the windows. Both towers stand on a two-storey podium in dark stone with full-height shop windows for the commercial units.
