Taupe flat with crystal chandeliers
An 86 m² neoclassical flat for a family with children. Taupe walls with mouldings, crystal chandeliers, marble and brass details form a soft, formal backdrop, while velvet furniture and potted plants make it warm.

Neoclassical for the whole family
To divide the flat into calm, separate rooms — a living room, a kitchen with a dining area, a bedroom and a kids' room for two — and carry one neoclassical approach through them all.
The kids' room needed two beds and two desks, the flat a walk-in wardrobe for clothes and shoes, and the loggias a place to sit by the window.
Mouldings, crystal and marble
The living room is built on symmetry: a slatted wall with a mirror in a brass frame of leaves, a modular sofa in dark brown, timber tables with marble tops and a cascading crystal chandelier. Lit marble piers frame the television. The kitchen has taupe fronts, a marble splashback with gold veining and an island in the same stone with chairs in brown velvet; on the kitchen loggia there are two shell-backed armchairs and a glass table.
The bedroom has an upholstered headboard with a brass geometric pattern, wardrobes with reeded glass on either side, and a dressing table with a pink chair and a round mirror. Behind a glass door in a black frame is a loggia with an emerald velvet armchair. The kids' room is for two: two beds against an upholstered wall, a double desk by the window, a timber panel with the television and ring chandeliers.
The hall and corridor are finished with mouldings and fluted panels with brass inlays, and the doors are panelled. The bathroom combines dark and white marble with an oval brass-framed mirror, a glass shower and a stacked washer and dryer; next to it is a walk-in wardrobe with dark timber shelving and lighting.
