Task

Kitchen, lounge and cinema in one space

Fit a kitchen with a breakfast bar, a sofa, a gaming desk and a cinema projector into one kitchen-living room without crowding the small area, and turn the loggia into a place to relax with a view of the city.

The hall needed a bench, hooks and closed storage, the bathroom a place for the washing machine.

Solution

Brick, pink and warm wood

The living room's main accent is a red brick wall with a bold portrait. In front of it stand a grey sofa with pink cushions and bean bags in pink and beige, with a white wall opposite for the projector. The gaming desk sits by a pink wall.

The kitchen has dark wood-effect wall units, pale base units and a lit splashback; beside it, a timber breakfast bar with yellow stools under a cluster of black pendants. The loggia has grey walls, herringbone flooring and a velvet lounge chair by the full-height window.

The hall has a slatted panel with a bench and a lit niche, a print of a classical profile and a mirror set into the pink wall. The bathroom is in concrete-effect tile with pink accents: a wall cabinet and vertical tiles by the bath. The bedroom has a pink wall with butterfly prints, a grey bed, a chandelier of glass globes and a mirrored sliding wardrobe.
