Shared space, two bedrooms and a laundry

Join the hall, kitchen, dining and living areas into one space, and give the flat a separate living room and two bedrooms, one of them with a walk-in wardrobe.

Combine the bathroom with a laundry that has room for washing and for storing household things.

Solution

Grey, graphite and pink accents

The hall, kitchen-living room and bedrooms share a pale herringbone floor and warm grey walls. The hall has wardrobes with long black handles, a bench, lit open shelves and a timber-slat wall with round wall lights. The kitchen-living room has a graphite corner sofa, round coffee tables, a kitchen with dark wall units and a marble-clad island. Dusty pink chairs surround the dining table, matching stools stand at the island, and a ring pendant hangs above the table.

The living room has a grey sofa, a relief panel and a wardrobe with mirrored doors that makes the room feel larger. The bedroom has a graphite bed, a timber-slat wall, a dressing table and a walk-in wardrobe behind black-framed glass, fitted in dark wood with rails and lit shelves. The second bedroom is light, with a fluted wall behind the bed and a relief panel.

The bathroom is lined with large concrete-effect tiles and wood-effect panels, with black fittings, a black towel rail and a glass shower. The laundry has a washing machine in a tall unit, a worktop, lit open shelves and a place for the laundry basket.
