A formal living room with a staircase
To join the hall and living room of a 200 m² flat into one formal space, with the spiral staircase to the upper level as its main feature.
Alongside it, a kitchen with a dining area, two bedrooms with wardrobes and a bathroom, all in the same light neoclassical key.
Stucco, marble and brass
In the living room a wall of white marble with graphic black veining is framed by dark wood panels with sconces and set with two brass circles. A chandelier of golden leaves hangs above beige sofas and green velvet armchairs. Opposite, a black marble wall holds the television and a bio-fireplace between open shelves. The white spiral staircase is ringed with vertical brass rods, and the hall and corridor have stucco on white panelled walls and herringbone parquet.
The kitchen is a run of dark grey fronts with a marble splashback between backlit glass cabinets for wine and glasses. The dining area by the window has a round table on a golden base, velvet chairs and a wall of wood panels laid in a herringbone with brass inlays; the floor is white marble.
In the main bedroom a bed in dark upholstery stands between backlit glass-fronted wardrobes, with a dressing table with a round mirror and a quilted armchair by the window. In the second bedroom a dark green quilted panel with brass studs fills the wall behind the bed. The bathroom is white and grey marble, with a brass-framed shower and a backlit mirror.
